Tetsu Shiotani and Makoto Ozone, two pianists who represent the current Japanese jazz scene in terms of both popularity and ability, have released a dream duo album! The best takes from all their performances were selected by the two pianists. The two pianists play so well together that you would be forgiven for thinking they are playing from a single piano. Recording, mixing, and mastering is done by Joe Farrah, the busiest jazz musician in the world today, who has worked with David Sanborn, John Scofield, and others. The album will be released simultaneously on Universal Music, to which Mr. Ozone belongs (no duplication of takes)! Recorded live at the Blue Note in Osaka, February 21-26, 2005.
