It was a tour by a band who had some excellent NEW songs to play and they had the guts to play 9 of their new songs live. They have had the same band members for 30+ years , who can still play like a house on fire even in their mid-fifties. These facts are unequaled in rock history. Most of those older more well known bands just played their greatest hits , offering nothing new to hear.? NOT , RUSH. They just keep rolling a long with great new songs. This 3 LIVE DVD set shows a whole 2007 concert with the best sound and pictures that they have ever presented. These DVDs have 3 sound options [even , MONO]. There are 2 versions. HIGH DEF. , and BLU-RAY , all in wide screen. ALL of the concert films are here [SOUTH PARK , BOB And DONG , ect] , plus there are many , many funny extras. Even the closing credits to the concert are a hoot. The 3rd LIVE DVD is a live DVD of the 4 songs that they didn't play on their 2007 Tour , including , 2112 , THE TREES and RED BARCHETTA. You also get a live version of the song called , RED SECTOR A , as an extra on disc 2. The SNAKES & ARROW songs , all sound better live and wait until you hear the song called , SECRET TOUCH , live. 12 of these songs have never been on any live RUSH DVD , before.
