UNDERWORLD [SHM-CD + Blu-ray] [Limited Edition / Type A]

To be perfectly honest, I've been into HYDE's other band L'Arc~en~Ciel for the past 20 years, but only very recently got introduced to VAMPS. Just like L'Arc~en~Ciel, HYDE still doesn't disappoint and neither does KAZ or anyone else featured on this album. UNDERWORLD is an amazing rock album. Every song is great. You can jam to this from start to finish over and over and never get bored in the slightest with it. Personally my favorite songs are Calling, Sin In Justice & "B.Y.O.B (Bring Your Own Blood)". The included bluray is also an even greater reason to buy this edition of the album. It's not as huge and elaborate a show as many of the past L'Arc~en~Ciel ones I own, but it's still an excellent show. The vocals & band are always beyond excellent and HYDE's glowing blue eye thing is also wicked, which you've just gotta see. Plus I loved the special guests for the performance of SIN IN JUSTICE as well. The stage looks totally wicked as well. Onto the packaging, this album is highly detailed and has so much to it. It comes in a digipak flipped closed with a slip cover holding it in place. Flip it open and the outer side continues the image from the cover going downwards completing the devil girl with a hound laying below her feet. Below it is a separate image of the devil girl again in shadow standing in front of the door holding a glowing apple with the "V" logo on it. Inside you'll find the disks in each their own respective jewel case slots. The disks are extreme in detail as well matching the equally detailed background behind the disks. The booklet is attached to the package to the left side of the disks and is very thick with all the lyrics written inside in both English and their Japanese translations for the general public in which this album was released. Every song is sung 100% in English though. The included poster isn't very large, but it is gorgeous nonetheless. I'm getting it plaque mounted very shortly to add to my wall with all my others. INCREDIBLE ROCK ALBUM!! I VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!
