When We All Fall Asleep. Where Do We Go? - Japan Complete Edition

I had this album on my wishlist for a few years and today I finally got it, great artist and great music.

The cd contains 19 tracks. Many of which I hadn't actually owned on a previous copy of the album. The blu ray is just absolutely incredible! The picture quality is superb. The way the artwork is made too it is of a quality only Japan know how to do. Each disc is housed in a protective sleeve to prevent damage!

'I have taken out my invisalign and this is the album.' And what an album. Probably the best debut in years. She wasn’t even 18 when this came out and she had already proven her skills with the very good ‘Dont Smile at me’ ep. She writes and produces almost everything with her brother, they are phenomenal. The lyrics are smart and witty and the sounds slick and unexpected. The concept and the title are well thought, perfectly matching the oniric and nightmarish atmosphere of the music. Here you can find all the bonus tracks: the Japan exclusive Come Out and Play, the hauntingly beautiful When I was Older (inspired by the movie Roma) and the worldwide hit Everything I Wanted. Yes... there is the Bad Guy remix with Justin Bieber as well, which is the only flaw of this edition. It’s so useless and unnecessary that it kind of spoils the otherwise sublime flow of the album. That's why I didn't rate 5 stars. I would have preferred one less song, or rather the new singles 'My Future' and 'Therefore I am'. Maybe they will be in Billie's next work, who knows. The bonus disc is a region-free blu-ray (at last! No more dvds) with all the amazing music videos. The discs are housed in a digipack inserted in the outer slipcase. Both depict the front and back covers of the album. This is the edition to buy, for sure.
