『龍が如く』シリーズ内で楽しめるリズムミニゲーム「カラオケ」を代表する定番楽曲。別れた恋人を忘れられない女性の切ない心境を描いた歌謡バラードナンバー。作詞はセガの堀井亮佑氏、作曲は福山光晴氏が手がけた。『龍が如く5 夢、叶えし者』で初登場後、シリーズを通して様々なキャラクターに歌われ、多くのファンに愛されている。アコースティックな「ばかみたい-哀愁-」を筆頭に数々のアレンジ版も存在。リップシンク動画をもとにいろんな顔画像に歌わせる「Dame Da Ne」のミームが海外で大ブームとなり「Baka Mitai」や「Dame Da Ne」などの名称で親しまれ、『龍が如く』ファン以外にも愛される、世界的な人気曲となった。この度、A面には「ばかみたい」の原点となる楽曲【Taxi Driver Edition】を、B面にはじっくりと聞かせてくれるアコースティックなアレンジが好評の「ばかみたい-哀愁-」を収録。「ばかみたい」オンリーの、初の単独12インチシングルとして、11月3日に開催される「レコードの日」エントリー作品として発売。
