Kawamoto Kihachiro / Okamoto Tadanari Works 4K Restored Ver. [4K ULTRA HD + 2Blu-ray] (English Subtitles)

Features English subtitles. The works of two Japanese anime legends, Kihachiro Kawamoto, who marks his 10th anniversary from his death and Tadanari Okamoto, who marks his 30th anniversary from his death both in 2020 will revive in UHD Blu-ray. Kawamoto and Okamoto's works are considered as national treasure masterpieces, which have won numerous awards at film festivals both in Japan and abroad, which now have been restored in 4K in ultra-high resolution and rich colors by scooping up all the information recorded on the original negative film! Restored from the original 35mm (16mm only for Kawamoto's "Hanaori") negatives, the 4K restorations were produced by IMAGICA Entertainment Media Services, Inc. under the supervision of cameraman Minoru Tamura, who shot many of Kawamoto and Okamoto's films, and other staff and related people. The audio is digitized from the sound negatives or cine tapes of each film, and restored and mastered by world-renowned sound engineer Seigen Ono. Both UHD and BD are recorded with uncompressed 96kHz/24bit linear PCM audio.
