This is a limited edition, gorgeous double-LP with a double-sided jacket! Ray Harakami passed away in July 2011 at the age of 40. This is a compilation of songs that he had produced in the past but had to put off releasing for various reasons. The song "Sayonara (Good-bye)" included in this album was recorded on a cassette MTR in 1989, when Ray Harakami was still a student. The mastering of the LP was done by Akio Yamamoto of Kansai electronic musician TANZMUZIK, whom Ray Harakami respected and who also did the remix of "Lane". Ray Harakami also worked on the remix of "Lane". This is a Record Day item.

rei harakami(レイ・ハラカミ)作品の中で、心地よさと温かさを放つ名盤『わすれもの』が待望のレコードで蘇る。完全限定生産、2LP見開きジャケットの豪華盤!! 2011年7月、40歳の若さで亡くなったレイ・ハラカミ。彼が過去に制作し、さまざまな理由で発表を見送ってきた楽曲を一枚にまとめて放たれた本作『わすれもの』。本作に収録されている『さようなら』という曲は、まだレイ・ハラカミ自身が学生だった頃、89年にカセットMTRに録音したもの。小さな音源モジュールから放たれるシンセ音は様々な表情を持ち、忘れかけていた何かを思い出させ、懐かしさも与えてくれる一枚だ。LP化にあたりマスタリングは、レイ・ハラカミが尊敬し"Lane"のremixも手掛けていた、関西電子音楽家TANZMUZIKの山本アキヲが担当。レコードの日対象商品。
