Director Yoshihiro Fukagawa and actor Hidetoshi Nishijima invite you to a "world of fantasy" beyond the everyday. Kamakura, the ancient capital of Japan, is a cut-through passage. Just past the kiridoshi, a man is writing a novel in an old apartment. His name is Tsutomu Makihuri. He is an unsuccessful novelist. Makihuri receives a request to write a sensual novel, which he is not able to write. Makihuri, who is having a hard time writing, happens to find a small "hole" in the wall of his room. As he discovers the hole, a woman with a white parasol moves into the room next door. This was the beginning of an illusion that was neither dream nor reality. As if possessed, Makihuri began writing a novel about what he saw through the hole, and before he knew it, he was captivated by the woman, and became absorbed in the mysterious world....

もし、あなたが部屋の壁に小さな「穴」を見つけたら・・・。2007年 東京国際映画祭「日本映画・ある視点」公式出品作品/2008年 イタリア ウディネ・ファー・イースト映画祭正式出品作品。監督・深川栄洋と俳優・西島秀俊が誘う、日常のその先にある「幻想の世界」。 古都・鎌倉、切通し。そこを過ぎたところにある、古いアパートでひとりの男が小説を書いている。名前は真木栗勉。売れない小説家だ。その真木栗に、書けるはずもない官能小説の依頼が舞い込む。書けずに悩む真木栗は、ひょんなことから、部屋の壁に小さな「穴」を見つける。そして穴の発見にあわせるように、隣の部屋に白い日傘をさした女が引っ越して来た。これが夢とも現実ともつかない幻想の始まりとなった。真木栗は、取り憑かれたようにその穴からのぞき見たことを小説に書き始め、知らないうちに女の虜になっていき、妖しい世界にのめり込んでいくのだった・・・。
