Description

[Machine Translation] A samurai from the end of the Edo period travels back in time to a period drama studio. It is nighttime in Kyoto at the end of the Edo period. Kosaka Shinzaemon, a samurai of the Aizu domain, is assigned to a secret mission to avenge the Choshu domain samurai. Just as the two sides are about to cross blades, there is a thunderous roar and Shinzaemon is transported back in time to a modern-day period drama studio. Shinzaemon is shocked to learn that the Shogunate he was trying to protect has long since been destroyed. 幕末の侍が時代劇撮影所にタイムスリップ?! ──時は幕末、京の夜。会津藩士高坂新左衛門は密命により長州藩士を討つ任を帯びていた。いざ両者が刃を交えた刹那、雷鳴轟き、新左衛門は現代の時代劇撮影所へとタイムスリップしてしまう。守ろうとした幕府がとうに滅んだと知り愕然とする新左衛門。一度は死を覚悟したものの「我が身を立てられるのはコレのみ」と刀を握り締め、鍛え上げた剣の腕だけを頼りに撮影所の門を叩く。「斬られ役」として生きていくために・・・。映像特典 (約20分程度)には、舞台挨拶、未公開シーン集 (※劇場公開されたデラックス版に収録されたシーンも含む)、劇場予告編を収録。
