[Japanese-Origin Products Remain Duty-Free Under $800]

The new reciprocal tariff policy has been announced, but there’s no change for products originating from Japan when shipped to the U.S. Items such as CDs, Blu-rays, LPs, books, and DVDs will continue to be exempt from duties for U.S.-bound deliveries if the subtotal is under USD $800.

[China and Hong Kong Products No Longer Eligible for De Minimis]

Starting May 2, 2025, all products originating from China and Hong Kong destined to the U.S. will no longer be eligible for De Minimis exemption. This means duties will apply regardless of the order value.
