  • This time, we will focus on a few real-life locations of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime series. This anime series is an adaptation of a manga series written and illustrated by Gege Akutami as a sequel to the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School [renamed as Jujutsu Kaisen 0] manga. The story of Jujutsu Kaisen is about a high school student named Yuji Itadori who joins a secret organization of Jujutsu Sorcerers to eliminate a powerful curse. By visiting these locations, you can experience the Jujutsu Kaisen world. This article may include spoilers from anime season 1.

    1- Sendagaya Tunnel

Our first real-life location, featured in the opening credits of Jujutsu Kaisen anime, is the thrilling Sendagaya Tunnel. Built-in 1964 in Shibuya Ward, this tunnel passes under a cemetery and is renowned as the most haunted tunnel in Tokyo. There have been reports about ghost sightings. It's a mere 15-minute walk from JR Sendagaya Station, making it easily accessible for all the brave Jujutsu Kaisen fans.

In the opening credits, we see various locations with different characters from anime. Our next location is Azabu Tunnel, which is near Roppongi Hills. This 54-floor skyscraper contains retail stores, restaurants, offices, an art center, and a museum.

    3- Sendai City

Most of the Jujutsu Kaisen takes place in Tokyo, but at the beginning of the anime, we see Yuji Itadori's hometown, Sendai, Miyagi. In the second episode, during the fight, Satoru Gojo says he bought Sendai specialty kikufuku mochi, which is filled with whipped cream and edamame paste.

    4- Morioka Station

At the end of the second episode, we see Morioka Station in Iwate Prefecture. It is an important junction station for the Shinkansen.

In the third episode of Jujutsu Kaisen, we see Nobara Kugisaki walking down Takeshita Street. This 350-meter-long street in Harajuku is trendy among young customers for food and fashion shopping.
