Girls Dead Monster from Angel Beats![2010]

Girls Dead Monster is an all-girls band in the 13-episode original anime series "Angel Beats!" The scenario is by Jun Maeda, the music is by Anant-Garde Eyes, and the character design is by Na-Ga.

The anime's story is about Yuzuru Otonashi, who wakes up in the afterlife without memories. In this place, he encounters Yuri Nakamura who asks him to become a member of the group she leads to fight against God for their harsh life experiences.

Girls Dead Monster was founded by Masami Iwasawa and Hisako, who both had problems related to music in their lives before they died. Masami becomes the lead vocalist and guitarist, and Hisako becomes the lead guitarist of the band. The other members of the band are Shiori Sekine, the bassist, and Miyuki Irie, the drummer. And Yui became the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist after Masami's passing.



Plasmagica from Show By Rock [2015]

Plasmagica is the all-girls rock band in the "Show By Rock" anime which has a four-season anime series based on a Japanese mobile rhythm video game.

It is about Cyan Hijirikawa, an ordinary girl with extreme guitar skills but with a lack of confidence. After she plays her favorite rhythm game, she is suddenly transported into a world known as Midi City and becomes a Myumon, a white cat girl. She also discovers that those who make amazing music have the power to control the city.

Cyan became part of a band called Plasmagica as a guitarist and a vocalist. Other group members are Chuchu, the guitarist, Retoree, the bassist, and Moa the drummer.





Poppin'Party from BanG Dream! [2017]

The band featured in the "BanG Dream!" anime series is called Poppin'Party.

This anime series is a part of the multimedia franchise owned by Bushiroad that has three seasons of anime series, five films, one OVA, and one spin-off.

The story is about a first-year high school student, Kasumi Toyama, who decided to form a band to rediscover the sound called Star Beat that she experienced as a child.

Poppin'Party's members are the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Kasumi Toyama, the lead guitarist Tae Hanazono, the bassist Rimi Ushigome, the drummer Sāya Yamabuki, and the keyboard player Arisa Ichigaya.





Ho-kago Tea Time from K-On! [2009]

Ho-kago Tea Time is the all-girls band featured in the "K-On!" anime series, based on the manga series by Kakifly. K-On! consists of two seasons and a movie. It follows the story of four high school girls, who join their school's light music club to prevent it from disbanding. Despite having no prior music knowledge, Yui Hirasawa improves herself to become the lead guitarist and vocalist of the group. The group also includes Mio Akiyama as the bassist and songwriter, Ritsu Tainaka, a.k.a Ricchan, as the drummer and leader, and Tsumugi Kotobuki, a.k.a Mugi, as the keyboard player. A new member, Azusa Nakano, joins as the rhythm guitarist in their second year. Eventually, they formed the band Ho-kago Tea Time.





Kessoku Band from Bocchi the Rock! [2022]

Kessoku Band is the all-girl band featured in the "Bocchi the Rock! [2022]" anime, which is adapted from a manga series by Aki Hamaji.

The story follows Hitori Gotō, who dreams of becoming a rock musician and making friends despite her social anxiety.

She comes one step closer to her dream after a fateful encounter with Nijika Ijichi and becoming the lead guitarist of a new band named Kessoku Band. Kessoku Band's other members are the vocalist and rhythm guitarist Ikuyo Kita, the band's leader and drummer Nijika Ijichi, and the bassist Ryō Yamada.

Togenashi Togeari from Girls Band Cry [2024]

Togenashi Togeari is the name of the band in the "Girls Band Cry" anime series. The series is an original production, directed by Kazuo Sakai, written by Jukki Hanada, and character designed by Nari Teshima.

The story is about Nina Iseri, a high school dropout who moves to Kawasaki for independence. After her encounter with Momoka Kawaragi, they form a band with other dropouts to express their feelings through music.

The members of the Togenashi Togeari are Nina Iseri as the vocalist,

Momoka Kawaragi as the guitarist and leader of the band; Subaru Awa as the drummer; Tomo Ebizuka as the keyboard player, and Rupa as the bassist.
