About the Author

1- Captain Tsubasa

When it comes to football, my childhood self would probably kick me if I chose another anime. So of course for football, I chose to write about Captain Tsubasa.
Tsubasa Oozora loves everything about football and his goal is to aim for the World Cup. To achieve that, he has spent hours practicing with a ball since he was a little boy. Since I watched the beginning of this anime series when I was a child I think I could say he also learns how to become a better team player, He is a show-off, trying to win on his own at the beginning of the anime.

2- Run With The Wind [Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru ]

This anime is about running. One night, Kiyose Haiji, who is in the last year of his university, comes across Kurahara Kakeru, who is another student from his university and a former runner back in high school. Nowhere to go Kakeru is convinced by Haiji to live in the dormitory of the Kansei University Track Club. Haiji's dream is to run again and show his ability in the Hakone Ekiden (university running marathon which is held between Tokyo and Hakone in Japan on January 2 and 3). But other members of the track club have no will to run or to participate in Hakone Ekiden.

3-Birdie Wing -Golf Girls' Story-

This anime is about golfing. Competitive and skillful golf player Eve uses her skill to win money by sports bidding against her competitors. But when she comes across Aoi, her luck changes, and promises herself a rematch to win against her.

4-Free -Iwatobi Swim Club

This anime is about swimming.
Nanase Haruka who loves swimming starts a swimming club at Iwatobi High School after he comes across his childhood rival Matsuoka Rin who shows him how strong he has become with his swimming skills.

5-BackFlip [Bakuten!!]

This anime is about men's rhythmic gymnastics.
In the final summer of middle school, Shotaro Futaba who loves sports but has no talent for them discovers men's rhythmic gymnastics. He decides to attend the school's gymnastics club. Even though boys fight a lot, they learn to work together as a team to achieve the goal of winning the tournaments.

6-Hajime No Ippo

This anime is about boxing. Ippo Makunouchi, who is a shy high school student, is frequently bullied. One day, after he is seriously beaten, he ends up in a gym that is run by a retired boxer. They let him use sandbags to get rid of his frustration and they noticed Ippo's talent in boxing. Later on, Ippo decided to become a professional in boxing, and boxing inspired him to search for the real meaning of strength.

7-Yowamushi Pedal

This anime is about cycling. Sakamichi Onoda is an otaku looking forward to joining the anime club at his school and making new friends but he is devastated to learn that this club was disbanded because of a lack of members. He usually rides around 90- kilometers per week to reach Akihabara and two cycling club members from his school notice his cycling skills and try to convince him to join the bicycle racing club.

8-Hinomaru Sumo

This anime is about Sumo Wrestling. In professional sumo, there are no weight classes, only the strongest win but there are minimum size requirements, and Hinomaru Ushio who is really talented may have a hard time accomplishing this requirement. To become professional firstly he needs to win high school tournaments.

9-Iwakakeru -Climbing Girls-

This anime is about climbing. Konomi Kasahara, who loves puzzles, decides to choose a different hobby for her school club. A colorful climbing wall which resembles a sort of puzzle helps her to choose the climbing club. With her new friends from the high school club, her new passion opens a new chapter in her life.
