This time in our anime list, we will be focusing on anime series with short, cute female characters, which we may refer to as petite.

1- My Senpai Is Annoying [Senpai ga Uzai Kōhai no Hanashi]

This romantic comedy anime series, which is based on Shiro Manta's manga series, is about a petite saleswoman named Futaba Igarashi.

Because of her look, which makes her mistaken for a kid, she makes extra effort to gain respect in her office. However, she still struggles to deal with her crush, a gigantic co-worker, Harumi Takeda, who teases her every day.

The opening theme song of the anime series is Annoying! San-san Week! by the voice actresses of the anime, and the ending theme song is Niji ga Kakaru made no Hanashi by Yui Horie.



2 - My Tiny Senpai [Uchi no Kaisha no Chiisai Senpai no Hanashi]

My Tiny Senpai is Saisō's manga adaptation. This fun anime is about Shiori Katase who is a tiny and cute office lady. She is proud of being the mentor of Takuma Shinozaki, who has a crush on her. She does her best to help him and spoil him to make him enjoy and learn the work. In time, both notice that their relationship becomes something more than professional. And with their nosy boss and Takuma's tiny and cute things-loving sister, it looks like some things are inevitable.

The opening theme song of the anime is Honey by Tōya Kobayashi, and the ending theme song is Sugar by YU-KA.



3- Aharen-san wa Hakarenai

This school, romance comedy anime is based on a manga series by Asato Mizu. It is about high schooler Matsuboshi Raidou and his tiny, faintly voiced personal space invader classmate, Reina Aharen, who sits next to him. With his determination to become friends with her, awkward but fun-to-watch school days start for them.

The opening theme song is Hanarenai Kyori by TrySail, while the ending theme song is Kyorikan by HaKoniwalily.



4- Toradora!

Toradora! is a romantic comedy anime series based on a light novel series by Yuyuko Takemiya, with illustrations by Yasu. It is a story about clean freak, gentle but stern-faced high schooler, Ryuuji Takasu, and his tiny, cute but aggressive classmate, Taiga Aisaka, a.k.a Palmtop Tiger. After discovering that they both have a crush on each other's best friend, they decide to collaborate; however, things don't go as they expected.

The opening theme songs are Pre-Parade by voice actresses, Rie Kugimiya, Eri Kitamura, and Yui Horie, and Silky Heart by Yui Horie. The ending theme songs are Vanilla Salt by Yui Horie, and Orange by Rie Kugimiya, Eri Kitamura, and Yui Horie.

5- When Will Ayumu Make His Move? [Sore demo Ayumu wa Yosetekuru]

This romantic comedy anime is based on a webcomic named Shogi no Yatsu by Sōichirō Yamamoto. It is about Ayumu Tanaka, a high school student who gives up his kendo club membership and becomes a member of the shogi club to confess his love to his senior, Urushi Yaotome who is tiny, cute, and skillful in shogi.

The opening theme song of this anime is Kakehiki wa Poker Face by Kana Hanazawa, and the ending theme song is 50 Centi by Kanna Nakamura.



6- Place to Place [Acchi Kocchi]

Place to Place anime series is based on a manga series by Ishiki.

Tiny and cute Tsumiki Miniwa who is in love with her best friend, Io Otonashi, can't confess her love due to her tsundere character. Their classmate, who is aware of her feelings, teases her and gives Io hints to make him realize, but with his dense behavior, it looks like it will take a lifetime for both of them to develop their relationship.

The opening theme song of the anime is Atchi de Kotchi de by voice actors: Rumi Ōkubo, Nobuhiko Okamoto, Hitomi Nabatame, Kaori Fukuhara, and Shintarō Asanuma, and the ending theme song is Te o Gyu Shite ne by Ōkubo.

7- Working!!!

This three-season anime series, which is based on a manga series by Karino Takatsu, is about the staff of a restaurant called Wagnaria. Our main reason for mentioning this anime in this list is Sōta Takanashi, who is obsessed with cute and small things, and his 17-year-old senior at work, Popura Taneshima, who is short for her age.
