About eBook Renta!
Renta! is an online eBook rental site provided by PAPYLESS, the leading provider of eBooks in Japan. CDJapan has teamed up with them in order to make this service available to people all over the world. CDJapan customers are able to use Renta! services by using their CDJapan customer account. However, if you do not have a CDJapan customer account, you will need to create one in order to use them.
Payment Methods
Renta! currently accepts credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, JCB, Diners) registered with your CDJapan Customer Account. The payment will be processed on your credit card in Japanese yen when you purchase tickets (see How to rent eBooks below for details). The charge will appear on your billing statement under the heading "Neowing " which is the company name of CDJapan. The issuer of your credit card will convert the total amount of your purchase into your local currency. At this time, no other payment methods including PayPal or Alipay are available. The amount of purchase includes the the 5% Japanese consumption tax, due to the requirement of the Japanese tax office that considers the purchase as taking place in Japan because of the server location.

It is possible to read eBooks you rent online as many times as you'd like during the rental period. To rent eBooks, purchase tickets first and use then use tickets when renting the contents.
