I found a list of top 10 popular dogs in Japan.
Popular dog breeds in Japan changes every couple years.
In my opinion, the trends are mostly influenced by dogs appearing T.V. commercials.
To be honest, I am not really a dog-person myself.
Probably because I was grown up always having a cat in my house and never
got the chance to fall in love with dogs. But I really wish that my cat would
react to me like how dogs love their bosses because my cat completely ignores me.
Okay so here is the list...

I know shiba inu is my favorite too.
Sometimes I see chubby shiba inus and they are soo cute...
It's strange that dogs actually kind of look like the people in that country.

So, Shiba Inu is the most popular dog in Japan, Mana? Rightly, some of my favorites singers appear with such puppy on their photobooks like Aya Hirano or Risako. Nice dogs but they have lots of hair!!

Japan likes their things/pets cute, so all the dogs are small dogs. My faves are pomeranians and poodles. But yeah, my impression is that Japan loves cats more. I wonder why? Maybe the Japanese are so busy that they don't have time to take them out regularly for a walk?
There are so many famous Japanese cats on Youtube, like Maru, Yukke and Reo & Rara etc. They are all so cute.
