The Beatles Digitally Remastered for the First Time!
Original studio albums of the Beatles are digitally remastered for the first time, and they will be released worldwide on September 9, 2009. Preorder now!
Included are following 14 albums: "Please Please Me," "With The Beatles," "A Hard Day's Night," "Beatles For Sale," "Help!," "Rubber Soul," "Revolver," "Sgt.pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," "Magical Mystery Tour," "The Beatles," "Yellow Submarine," "Abby Road," "Let It Be," and "Past Masters Vol.1 & 2." This is also the first time that the band's first four titles are available in stereo format.
Each albums features the original UK sleeve cover designs and includes deluxe booklet containing original and newly written liner notes and rare photos. Some of the new notes are added by Paul McCartney. With the exception of the "Past Masters," a short documentary will also be embedded in CD-Extra format for a limited period of time. The footage is directed by Bob Smeaton ("Festival Express") and includes making-of each albums, previously unreleased studio chat of the members, rare photos, and more. Also a box set "The Beatles Box" will be released on the same date (subject to change), packed with all 14 remastered reissues, along with a DVD collection of the documentaries.
And for collectors, another box set "The Beatles in Mono" will also be released. As the title name indicates, this box set contains the monaural versions of the band's 10 albums. A double-CD "Mono Masters" is also included in addition, which is the monaural counterpart to "Past Masters." Other remarkable features of this box set are the original 1965 stereo remixes of "Help!" and "Rubber Soul" included as bonus tracks.
