"RAhXephon Tagen Hensoukyoku"

- Story -
In the futuristic Tokyo isolated from the rest of the world physically, as well as in time, a 29-year old woman named Aya, a TERRA (special service agency) agent, is assigned to take out Ayato Kamina who pilots an enormous humanoid super-weapon called RahXephon. He's a threat because he possesses the power to destroy the whole world. Things turn tortuous for Aya when she finds out that the young man used to be the very object of her deepest affection.

- Production Crew -
The imaginative sci-fi anime series is by Studio Bones, the studio responsible for "Cowboy Bebop - Knocking on Heaven's Door," and more recently for "Wolf's Rain". The TV series marks the directorial debut of Yutaka Izubuchi, the mecha designer of "Gundam: Gyakushu no Char (Char's Counter Attack)." Maaya Sakamoto who performs the show's themes, also plays one of the main characters in the show.
